How many children do you have and what are their age(s)?
I have one child, Jude Nicholas. He is 4 and turns 5 in July! We are celebrating it with a Snoopy Carnival themed party and he’s crazy excited about it!
Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in Morris County?
I am from a small town just north of Niagara Falls called Lewiston, NY. It’s a super cute historical village with amazing views of the Niagara River and even more amazing food. If you are taking a trip to the Falls this summer, you gotta check it out and take a rapids ride on the jet boat!
I have lived in Denville for 6 years. I moved to Indian Lake after living in Hoboken for many years.
Favorite things to do with your kids?
I love hiking with Jude. Even small little adventure trails are fun like the one at Muriel Hepner. He makes it fun by being on the look out for porcupines, butterflies, and bears the entire time. He tells me that the ferns in the woods look like Jurassic Park and to look out for raptors.
Jude and I also love walking downtown and stopping at all his favorite places like the “magazine store” aka the Smoke Shop, so he can browse all the goofy toys he loves there, then we HAVE to get an ice cream at Denville Dairy and eat it on our way over to visit the fish at both Hunan Taste and Grassroots Market. Then we usually swing by Santa Land so he can use his imagination and drive the train and when we get close to being back to our house he throw rocks into Indian Lake. It’s a nice little routine he’s made!
What’s one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I was a fuel systems mechanic in the US Air Force. I made sure the fuel got to the engines of the aircraft

How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
When my husband passed away in 2018, many people reached out to make sure Jude and I were ok. The Denville Police were especially kind to us and even though Jude was only 2, he still remembers those policemen by name.
And now, since launching my balloon business, so many local Denville businesses have really helped me by hiring me and also being so instrumental in spreading the word about my work. Denville has been so great for our family!
